Pinewood comes from evergreens, which as we all know are common all over the world. They are not referred to a single land area but can be found in both the northern and southern hemispheres. There are numerous species of pine, of which the most commonly used as pine are the variety Elliotti, Paraná and Taeda.
These trees are easy to identify by the pineapples located in their branches. Its wood is soft and therefore it is within the classification of softwoods which have great advantage compared to the others for its lightness, lower price and simple handling. On the other hand, pine wood does not have a long life and produces more splinters than other species.
